⚽Totelos Internal Tournament 2⚽
A few days ago, the second edition of the Totelos Internal Tournament took place. After a successful first edition, 8 teams were again able to compete on 5 February. Divided into 2 poules of 4 teams, they started at 17:30 to secure tickets for the knockouts. In poule A, teams FC UUUUUU and TU/e Legends managed to qualify for the semi-finals. After some exciting matches in poule B, the teams International team and Paralympiakos qualified for the semi-finals. In the semi-finals, FC UUUUUU was too strong for Paralympiakos and they advanced to the final with a 4-1 win. The other semi-final was a lot more exciting. International team and TU/e legends went well against each other, but in the end International team proved to be the better team and went through with a 1-0 win.
The final was one for the books. FC UUUUUU managed to take the lead early in the match, but that meant nothing against the winners of TIT 1. Towards the end of the match, International team managed to level the score which ensured that penalty kicks were taken. After a short series of 3 penalty kicks per team, International team managed to hit the nets 1 more time and can now crown themselves internal tournament champions for the second time this year.
